Located within the township is part of the 14,190 acre High Point State Park as well as the Sussex Airport (site of the annual Annual Sussex Air Show). Other points of interest include Woodburne Park, Wood Duck Trail, and Wantage Recreation Field.
Routes 23 and 284 provide easy access to Orange County, NY from the township.
